About The Education and Training Conference
It is imperative that police officers and community members develop greater levels of trust and respect that can result in safer interactions with each other, particularly in communities of color. Yet their efforts are often marred by the misperceptions of both the officer and community member. When each has a better understanding of the other, their commitments to each other are freshened and strengthened.
This event will include 3 days of priceless information and knowledge from experts in each topic discussed, enabling participants to acquire effective communication and active listening skills, as well as other community-policing related techniques, and has been designed to enhance and improve the relationships between community members and their law enforcement guardians.
